Hurricane Irene roared, ravaged and rolled through several states, causing damages that are estimated to cost several million or billion dollars. This natural disaster caused me to reflect on the hurricanes and storms I experienced as a child. I captured the events of one such experience in one of the stories in the book titled, The Little Big Thinkers: a Collection of Children’s Stories.
